The Manaiakalani AI Staff Meetings are a three-part PLD series designed to help schools build a clear, shared understanding of AI across the network.
Created in response to growing requests for AI PLD and a call from Convenors for a more unified, manageable approach, the series provides practical support that can fit within existing staff meeting schedules. Co-designed by teachers and leaders from throughout the Manaiakalani Network, the series is intended to support bigger-picture thinking around AI in education, with a focus on shared understanding, professional judgement, and practical application, rather than app-specific how-tos.
Designed to be delivered by your local facilitator as after-school staff meetings, these presentations sit alongside our regular Manaiakalani staff meetings and support schools to build shared language, strengthen professional judgement, and develop practical understanding of AI in education.
While they are part of a connected series, each presentation can also be taken up on its own, and in any order, depending on the needs and priorities of your staff.
Please contact your local Manaiakalani facilitator if you would like to book these sessions for your staff.
